Wynn

January 21, 2009

There’s no other hotel near the Las Vegas Strip that fuses nature and luxury in a modern hotel-resort, like the 5-star luxury hotel, Wynn Las Vegas.

With its arching golden facade, it is impossible to overlook Wynn from the crowd of equally-glamorous Strip hotels it belongs to. Surrounded by green trees and wonderful flowers, a towering mountain in the front and the lush-green Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole championship golf course at the back, Wynn gives out that excellent natural feel in its four borders.

The hotel’s indoor environment even transcends that found outside. Natural-looking lagoons, fountains that look like waterfalls, terraced landscapes, and the floor-to-ceiling windows found inside the 217-acre hotel create a wonderful otherworldly ambiance that never fails to amuse guests and visitors. The hotel’s atrium found near the lobby, leads guests to a magical pathway full of trees and flowers that do not even look like products of landscaping.

The wonderful combination of urban luxury and nature at Wynn Las Vegas does not end only with its facade and main level. All Wynn’s features; namely, fine restaurants, a 110,000-square-foot casino, swank shops, a refreshing spa and nightclubs, follow the hotel-resort’s nature meets urban theme. The windows of the 50-story hotel tower were designed to provide sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip, the golf course and the mountain. Conversely, each room in the hotel that offers European linens, flat-screen televisions in the living and bathroom areas, high-speed internet access and more are beautifully adorned by plants.
It is not surprising that the hotel-resort’s 26-table poker room casino portrays a colorful flower pattern. The same goes with Wynn’s resident restaurants such as Alex, Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare, Daniel Boulud Brasserie, and SW Steakhouse, which arranged their seats in such a way that their guests would get a clear glimpse of the pools and lush gardens outside while dining. But, the “naturalness” of Wynn hotel’s restaurants are not only the reason why guests kept on coming back to them for another meal. These restaurants are managed by internationally-acclaimed chefs like Alessandro Stratta, Daniel Boulud, David Walzog, Rene Lenger and Masa Ishizawa.

For people who are seeking for casual dining, Wynn has The Buffet, the restaurant who became known for featuring live-action exhibition cooking stations and the Zoozacrackers.

Wynn’s clubs also offer a thrilling nightlife for its guests. Overlooking the man-made mountain and the gardens are Blush and Tryst. These clubs have a secluded lagoon and ample dance floor. Near the clubs is a beautifully-landscaped outdoor pool complex that has two main pools, cabanas and table games.
The Wynn Las Vegas Spa features 45 treatment rooms as well as a full-service salon, barbershop and fitness center. The hotel-resort is also the home of La Reve, the famous aquatic creation of Franco Dragone, a Cirque Du Soleil veteran.

Shopping is also alive at Wynn Las Vegas. The Wynn Esplanade, Wynn’s official shopping destination, serves as a home to stores like Chanel, Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta and more.
Wynn has recently expanded its nature+luxury wonders, as its second tower, the Encore Tower (found just across the Wynn property), opened last December 2008.
